Statement of Purpose

The Ketchikan Ministerial Association is a fellowship of Christian Ministers dedicated to:

  a) The mutual professional exchange, growth and fellowship of members and
  b) The improvement of spiritual and social welfare of our area.

It is our intent at times to solicit funds from individuals or churches and receive offerings at KMA sponsored religious services in order to fund the ongoing ministries of the KMA.  The KMA will receive and disburse these funds collected for expenses incurred in efforts to further the purpose of the fellowship.  All members of the KMA participate on a free and voluntary basis without financial compensation for their efforts in furthering the benevolent purposes of the fellowship.

Statement of Core Beliefs

1. We believe in one eternal God in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe in the Holy Bible, both the Old and the New Testaments as the inspired Word of God, and that it is authoritative and sufficient for our witness of faith.

3. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He is the only begotten Son of God.

4. We believe that, “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”  (John 3:17)

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is gifted for service and enabled to live a godly life.
